Argentina

Argentina is a country located mostly in the southern half of South America. Argentina is a diverse country of stunning natural beauty, from tropical rainforests and thundering waterfalls.

We visited this country in November 2012.

The Casa Rosada is the executive mansion and office of the President of Argentina.

Puente de la Mujer (Woman’s Bridge)is a rotating footbridge. It has a single mast with cables suspending a portion of the bridge which rotates 90 degrees in order to allow water traffic to pass.

La Recoleta Cemetery, It contains the graves of notable people, including Eva Perón, presidents of Argentina, Nobel Prize winners, the founder of the Argentine Navy, and a granddaughter of Napoleon

Plaza de Mayo is the oldest square in the city and remains the primary site for major national celebrations and political demonstrations.
