Belgium

Belgium, known for medieval towns, Renaissance architecture and as headquarters of the European Union and NATO.

We have first visited Brussels in year July 2010 and after that few more time on various occasions.

We have visited Bruges in 2012. Bruges, also known as the Venice of the north thanks to its many, many canals.

The Atomium is a landmark building in Brussels, It is now a museum.it stands 102 metres tall.

The Parc du Cinquantenaire or Jubelpark is a large public urban park. The centrepiece memorial arch, known as the Cinquantenaire Arch, was erected in 1905.

Manneken Pis (little pee man in Flemish)is a landmark 61 cm bronze fountain sculpture in central Brussels, depicting a naked little boy urinating into the fountain's basin. Manneken Pis is the best-known symbol of the people of Brussels. It also embodies their sense of humour and their independence of mind.

The Grand Place or Grote Markt is the central square of the City of Brussels. The Grand-Place is surrounded by the guild houses, the City Hall and the Maison du Roi. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.

Bruges laced with canals, it was one of the great North European trading ports in late medieval times

The Belfry of Bruges is a medieval bell tower in the centre of Bruges. One of the city's most prominent symbols.
