Montenegro is a country in Southeast Europe with rugged mountains, medieval villages and a narrow strip of beaches along its Adriatic coastline. We have visited in May 2017.
We could see the town Perast in the distance across the Bay. Our Lady of the Rocks is also the name of the church which is located on the island of the same name.
St.Tryphon Cathedral in Kotor. A beautiful church with a nice collection of artifacts, relics and artwork. One of two Roman Catholic cathedrals in Montenegro.
Kotor old town is gorgeous.The views from the bay are stunning.
Kotor city walls – history carved in stone. The walls of Kotor are stretched all around the town and San Giovanni hill. Walls of Kotor are built to protect the town, which was an important naval, economic, and trading center.
